Description
A case for planned housing for workers is presented. The existing system of one-room tenements and slums is inadequate to meet the basic human requirements. Rather, the author advocates the creation of new and remodeled housing as recommended by the Bombay Housing Panel, with built-in amenities for each house, and social amenities for the colony. The need to inform the public of such schemes is stressed.
